Unsupported Products Activation

This page details activation methods for various Microsoft products that are not compatible with the automated scripts offered by our main Microsoft Activation Scripts (MAS) tool.

If you're uncertain or haven't tried it yet, we recommend attempting the activation options provided in the MAS script. For any assistance or specific product requests, please feel free to contact us.

Windows XP Professional Volume License

Office 2010 on Windows XP / Server 2003

MAS supports Office activation on Windows Vista and newer operating systems. For Office 2010 running on older systems like Windows XP or Server 2003, you'll need a different approach.

1. First, ensure you have the Office 2010 Installer.
2. Download the specialized Ohook script for Office 2010 from abbodi1406. It's packaged in a 7z archive. The password to extract it is 2010.
3. Extract the contents of the Ohook archive.
4. Run the _install.cmd script found within the extracted folder.
5. Obtain a product key for your specific Office 2010 product from our Ohook page, specifically the Office 2010 (14.0) section.
6. Open any Office application (e.g., Word, Excel). Navigate to File > Help > Activate/Change Product Key.
7. Enter the product key you acquired in the previous step and complete the activation process.

Your Office 2010 installation should now be permanently activated.

Important Note: Before attempting to uninstall Office 2010, remember to run the _uninstall.cmd script from the Ohook package to properly remove the activation components.

Office 2007 / Office 2003 / Office XP (2002)

For these older Office suites, direct product keys are available for activation.

Remote Desktop Services / Client Access Licenses (RDS CALs)

Installation

To set up Remote Desktop Services on your server:

1. Log into your server using an administrator account.
2. Open Server Manager, then go to Manage > Add Roles and Features.
3. Select Role-based or feature-based installation as the installation type.
4. Choose the server where you intend to install the licensing role.
5. On the Server Roles page, select the checkbox for Remote Desktop Services. Proceed by clicking Next until you reach the Remote Desktop Services page.
6. Select the specific roles you wish to install, ensuring that Remote Desktop Licensing is included.
7. In the Add Roles and Features Wizard dialog, click Add Features.
8. Continue clicking Next until you arrive at the Confirmation page, then click Install.

Activation

Once the roles are installed, follow these steps to activate RDS CALs:

1. Launch the Remote Desktop Licensing Manager.
2. Right-click on your server's name and choose Activate Server.
3. When prompted for the connection method, select Web Browser, then click Next.
4. The next screen will display a Product ID. Copy this ID.
5. Visit the LyssaRDSGen website and use your Product ID to generate a License Server ID.
6. Return to the wizard and enter the generated License Server ID.
7. When you see the message "The license server has been successfully activated.", click Next.
8. Click Next again. The wizard will now ask you to enter a License Key Pack ID.
9. Go back to the LyssaRDSGen website (https://thecatontheceiling.github.io/LyssaRDSGen/) and generate the License Key Pack ID. Enter this into the wizard.
10. Upon seeing the message "The requested licenses have been successfully installed.", the activation process is complete.

HEVC Video Extensions

The HEVC Video Extensions are a paid component from Microsoft that enables playing High Efficiency Video Coding (HEVC) content on Windows 10/11 devices. While typically a paid app on the Microsoft Store, you can acquire digitally signed installers.

As an alternative, you can manually download the AppxBundle installer:

1. Go to https://store.rg-adguard.net/
2. Search for the Product ID 9nmzlz57r3t7.
3. Download the resulting AppxBundle file.

Visual Studio

You can download Visual Studio from the official Microsoft site at https://visualstudio.microsoft.com/downloads/. Below are activation keys for various Visual Studio editions.

SQL Server

Download SQL Server evaluation versions from Microsoft's official evaluation center: https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/evalcenter/sql-server-2025-download. Here are activation keys for specific SQL Server editions.

Microsoft Configuration Manager

Microsoft Configuration Manager (also known as ConfigMgr or Microsoft Endpoint Configuration Manager, and formerly Systems Management Server/SCCM) is available for download as a current branch evaluation. More information on its naming evolution can be found here.
